Gluten-Free Bisquick and Asian Helper

Filed Under (Living with the gluten-less curse) by Mike Kauspedas on 27-04-2010

Saturday May 15 the Celiac Disease Foundation is holding a conference, General Mills will be there to announce some new gluten-free products. Gluten-Free bisquick and chicken fried rice asian helper, like hamburger helper with rice. GF bisquick mix sounds cool but they’re a little late. I’ve been using gf pancake mix for waffles, pancakes, cookies, muffins, etc for a while now and I can get it at King Soopers. But there’s the thing. General Mills sells in a LOT more grocery stores than the smaller boutique brands do so it will make two convenience items more available across the country. I shouldn’t down play this either, its a great thing to have major brands pushing gluten-free.

In other news, my Bready will be shipping soon. Oh, I can’t wait for fresh, warm, and soft gluten-free bread. I hope I can make some decent size loafs. The frozen stuff I get now at the grocery store is tiny, hardly call it sandwich bread. Unless you’re a midget.
