Nano Reef Tank

Here it is, the beginning of my nano reef tank. I bought an Oceanic Biocube 14 gallon tank. I also bought 7lbs of live rock, and 3lbs of lace rock. I’m sure I’ll have to go get some LR later. Just waiting for everything to settle, tomorrow morning I’ll do some test on nitrites, nitrates, ph, amonia, and salinity. So far salinity is good, from what I can tell. I have a pretty crappy hydrometer.

Here’s some updates to the tank
It cleared up a lot, I also added soem more rock and crumble to the rear chambers of the tank to help with filtering and the cycle. I had to put that book below the front to level the tank out. This is a great tank so far. I only needed to add a heater. Check out my levels after 3 days. I still need to wait for the cycle and die off, but not too shabby for my first salt water tank.I figured out the hydrometer, always remember to read the directions and watch for bubbles.
