ROCKIES SWEEP THE YANKEES!!!!!

The Colorado Rockies just swept the Yankees winning the last game 4-3 in a nail biter. Rockies are still the hottest team in baseball and only a few games from taking the tight NL West. They head out to Toronto next to lead off a 10 game road journey and continue their winning streak. This is also only the second sweep of the season. Purely amazing pitching by the bullpen and crucial hitting is what helped the Rockies sweep up the Yankees. Colorado really looks like a great baseball team. They're putting together the plays they need when they need them. In the last 27 games they are 20-7 making them the hottest team in the major league. They played in front of the biggest crowd of the season on a super hot day. Over 48k were in attendance.

This series was like a playoff series. The excitement and the games themselves were just like nail biting old style baseball games. There were no true blow outs by the Rockies. They still had to work for each run defensively and offensively.
